DeLOCK kuituoptinen kaapeli LC Duplex - LC Duplex OM3 3 m

The DeLOCK Fiber Optical Cable LC Duplex to LC Duplex OM3 3m is a multimode OM3 patch cable with LC Duplex connectors on both ends and a length of 3 metres. It is intended for high-speed data transmission between networking devices such as switches, media converters and transceivers. A metal armouring surrounds the fibre for improved mechanical protection while preserving flexibility and bendability.

Advantages

Metal armouring increases resistance to mechanical damage, moisture and dust while maintaining cable flexibility. OM3 multimode fibres support high bandwidth and are suitable for short to medium distance high-speed links. LC Duplex connectors provide a compact, industry-standard interface for networking equipment.

How to use

Route the fibre cable between the two networking devices ensuring minimum bend radius and avoiding sharp edges. Clean connector end faces before insertion and align the LC Duplex connectors with the corresponding ports until they click into place. Secure excess cable to avoid strain on the connectors and maintain proper cable management in racks or conduits.

Recommendations

Inspect connectors for contamination before each installation and use appropriate fibre cleaning tools. Avoid repeated heavy bending or crushing the cable despite the metal armouring; follow the manufacturer’s recommended minimum bend radius for OM3 multimode fibre.
