DeLOCK kuituoptinen kaapeli LC Duplex - SC Duplex OM4 1 m

This DeLOCK fiber optical cable LC Duplex to SC Duplex OM4 1 m is designed for high-speed data transmission and reliable connectivity between networking devices such as switches and media converters. The cable features OM4 multimode fiber with a 50 µm core diameter and a 1 meter length. It has LC duplex and SC duplex connectors for common network equipment interfaces.

Advantages

The cable is fitted with metal armouring that provides increased protection against mechanical damage, moisture, dust and rodents while maintaining flexibility and bendability. OM4 multimode fiber supports high bandwidth and is suitable for demanding short- to medium-range data links. LC and SC duplex connectors ensure secure, standardised connections in professional network environments.

How to use

Ensure both networking devices are powered down or follow hot-plug procedures recommended by the equipment manufacturer. Align and insert the LC duplex connector into the LC port and the SC duplex connector into the SC port until they click or seat securely. Verify link status on the devices and test data transmission. Avoid tight bends and excessive tensile load during installation to maintain fiber performance.

Recommendations

Store and route the cable to prevent sharp bends; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the equipment vendor. Use protective dust caps on unused connectors and inspect connectors for contamination before mating.
