DeLOCK RJ45 verkkokaapeli Cat.8.1 S/FTP 1 m jopa 40 Gbit/s musta

The DeLOCK RJ45 Network Cable Cat.8.1 S/FTP 1 m is a GHMT-certified Ethernet cable designed for 40GBASE-T applications. With S/FTP shielding and a 2 GHz frequency rating, this 1‑metre black cable supports data transfer speeds up to 40 Gbps for short‑reach high‑speed network connections.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity for high data rates. The Cat.8.1 construction and GHMT certification ensure the cable meets requirements for 40GBASE-T operation at frequencies up to 2 GHz. Standard RJ‑45 connectors on both ends provide compatibility with common network equipment.

Suitable for

• 40GBASE-T Ethernet links in data centres and server rooms
• High‑speed connections between switches, routers and servers
• Short‑reach backbone and aggregation cabling

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat.8.1 S/FTP
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — RJ-45
• Maximum data rate: up to 40 Gbps
• Frequency: up to 2 GHz
• Colour: Black
• Cabling technology: 40GBase-T

How to use

Connect each RJ‑45 connector to the corresponding 40GBASE‑T ports on your network devices such as switches, routers or servers. Ensure both connected devices support 40GBASE‑T or negotiate the appropriate link speed. Avoid excessive bending or tension on the cable and route it away from strong electromagnetic sources where possible.

Recommendations

For optimal performance at 40 Gbps, use this Cat.8.1 S/FTP cable for short‑reach connections (typically within data centre racks or between adjacent racks) and verify GHMT certification and device compatibility before deployment.
