DIGITUS Cat.6 asennuskaapeli, U/UTP, Dca, AWG 23/1, LSOH, 50 m, violetti

Cat.6 installation cable engineered for high-speed LAN backbone and horizontal cabling, delivering reliable Gigabit Ethernet performance up to 250 MHz in a low-smoke, zero-halogen jacket. The solid bare copper conductors (AWG 23/1) ensure stable signal integrity over long runs, while the Dca-s2,d2,a1 fire rating meets strict European safety requirements for building installations.

Advantages

Unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) construction minimizes crosstalk and external interference without the added bulk of shielding, making it easy to route through conduits and cable trays. The LSOH jacket emits very low smoke and no corrosive halogens in case of fire, protecting both people and equipment. Solid conductors are ideal for permanent links, providing lower attenuation and better performance compared to stranded cables. The cable meets ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173, and TIA/EIA-568-C.2 standards, ensuring compatibility with all major networking hardware.

Suitable for

• Structured building cabling in offices, data centers, and industrial environments
• Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-T) and Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications
• Installation in walls, ceilings, and under raised floors where fire safety is critical
• Termination into patch panels, keystone jacks, and RJ45 connectors

Key specifications

Recommendations

For best results, maintain the twist rate of each pair up to the termination point and avoid sharp bends with a radius less than 4 times the cable diameter. Use compatible Cat.6 connectors and patch panels to achieve full channel performance. Store the reel in a dry environment between -20°C and +75°C prior to installation.
