DIGITUS Professional verkkokaapeli - CAT6 - U/UTP - Snagless - 2m - musta

Future-oriented standards and high-end quality for your network: DIGITUS Category 6 (250 MHz) patch cords feature a transparent red plug for easy identification. These patch cords are manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6 specifications to ensure channel compliance and consistent performance up to 250 MHz, including near-end crosstalk (NEXT). Each cable includes a molded boot with kink protection, strain relief and an integrated latch protector to reduce the risk of latch breakage.

Advantages

The transparent red connector allows quick visual identification of Category 6 cables. Tested to Category 6 standards, the patch cords deliver reliable electrical performance up to 250 MHz and meet ISO/EN channel requirements. The molded boot provides kink protection and strain relief, while the latch protector increases connector durability in frequent-use environments.

Key specifications

• Standard: ISO/IEC 11801, DIN EN 50173 Category 6
• Frequency: up to 250 MHz
• Performance metric: includes NEXT (near-end crosstalk)
• Connector: transparent red RJ45 plug
• Boot: molded with kink protection, strain relief and latch protector

How to use

Insert the RJ45 connector into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks. Ensure the cable is routed without sharp bends to maintain kink protection and strain relief effectiveness. Use the red transparent plug to quickly identify Category 6 links during installation and troubleshooting. Avoid excessive pulling on the cable to protect the latch and connector integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal channel performance, use DIGITUS Category 6 patch cords as part of a Category 6 compliant cabling system and pair them with compatible Category 6 components. Inspect boots and latches periodically in high-usage environments and replace cords showing mechanical wear.
