DIGITUS verkkokaapeli kuparijohdin - CAT6 - S/FTP - Snagless - 3m - vihreä

The DIGITUS Network Cable CAT 6 S/FTP RJ-45, 3 m, green is a Category 6 patch cord designed for reliable Ethernet connections up to 250 MHz. It features S/FTP shielding, copper conductors and LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath for improved fire behaviour and reduced smoke emission. The cable is PoE+ ready and supplied with transparent red coloured RJ-45 plugs with metal shielding for easy identification of Category 6.

Advantages

This CAT 6 patch cord is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6 standards, ensuring compliance with channel specifications and consistent performance up to 250 MHz, including NEXT characteristics. The molded boots provide kink protection, strain relief and latch protection to reduce the risk of connector damage. S/FTP shielding and copper conductors improve resistance to electromagnetic interference and support Gigabit Ethernet speeds (10/100/1000Base-TX).

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections in home networks
• Office network workstations and patch panels
• PoE/PoE+ devices such as IP phones and access points
• Structured cabling installations requiring Category 6 performance

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (switch, router, PC) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the patch panel or network outlet. Ensure connectors click into place and that the molded boot provides strain relief. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid running it in parallel with high-voltage power cables to minimise interference.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this CAT 6 S/FTP patch cord for Gigabit Ethernet links and PoE/PoE+ devices. Maintain bend radius recommendations, avoid mechanical stress on connectors, and keep cable lengths within structured cabling guidelines to ensure compliance with Category 6 channel requirements.
