DisplayPort-kaapeli claroc CLAROC-DP-14-20M 8K 20 m

DisplayPort cable claroc CLAROC-DP-14-20M 8K 20 m is a 20-metre DisplayPort connection cable designed to transmit high-resolution video and audio over long distances. It supports DisplayPort signal standards capable of carrying up to 8K resolution, enabling reliable links between computers, monitors and other DisplayPort-equipped devices without intermediate signal repeaters. The cable is intended for installations where extended reach and stable image reproduction are required, including professional workstations, AV systems and home setups.

Advantages

The cable preserves high-bandwidth digital video and multi-channel audio across a 20 m span while minimizing signal degradation. Its construction is optimized to support modern DisplayPort resolutions and refresh rates, offering a single-cable solution for long-distance display connections. The product reduces the need for additional extenders or converters and provides a straightforward plug-and-play connection for compatible devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers to distant monitors in offices or studios
• AV installations in conference rooms, lecture halls and event venues
• Home theatre systems or living-room setups where the source is placed away from the display
• Workstations requiring high-resolution displays for design, editing or CAD work

Key specifications

• Cable length: 20 metres
• Interface type: DisplayPort (male-to-male)
• Maximum supported resolution: up to 8K (dependent on source and display capabilities)
• Audio support: multi-channel digital audio pass-through
• Design focus: long-distance signal transmission with reduced attenuation

How to use

Connect one end of the DisplayPort cable to the DisplayPort output on the source device and the other end to the DisplayPort input on the monitor or display. Ensure both devices are powered and that the display input is set to the corresponding DisplayPort source. Adjust display resolution and refresh rate in the operating system or device settings to match the capabilities of the connected monitor and the supported maximum resolution. For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and place the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

For reliable 8K performance, verify that both source and display support the target resolution and that graphics drivers or firmware are up to date. When routing the cable through walls, ceilings or conduits, ensure compliance with local installation rules and avoid exceeding recommended bend radii to maintain signal integrity.
