DisplayPort-kaapeli Sharkoon 1.4 8K 3 m, DisplayPort 1.4, 3 m pituus, tukee 8K-resoluutiota

The DisplayPort cable Sharkoon 1.4 8K 3 m is a 3-meter DisplayPort 1.4 connection cable designed to transmit high-bandwidth video and audio signals between compatible PCs, graphics cards and monitors. It supports resolutions up to 8K and follows the DisplayPort 1.4 standard to enable high refresh rates, HDR metadata transport and multi-channel audio over a single cable. The extra length provides flexibility for desk layouts and multi-monitor setups without compromising signal quality for supported devices.

Advantages

This DisplayPort cable delivers a stable digital link compliant with the DisplayPort 1.4 specification, allowing transmission of high-resolution video and audio. The 3 m length gives extra reach for desktop and workstation arrangements where the display and source are not adjacent. Support for 8K resolution ensures compatibility with modern high-density monitors and content, while DisplayPort 1.4 features such as HDR and higher refresh rates remain available when used with compatible hardware.

Suitable for

• Connecting a PC or laptop graphics card to a high-resolution monitor
• Multi-monitor desktop setups requiring extended cable length
• Gaming systems that need high refresh rate and HDR support
• Professional workstations for photo, video editing and CAD with high-resolution displays
• Home entertainment systems with 8K-capable displays

Key specifications

• Interface: DisplayPort 1.4 standard
• Maximum supported resolution: up to 8K (when used with compatible devices)
• Length: 3 meters
• Signal type: digital video and multi-channel audio
• Supported features: high refresh rates, HDR metadata transport, high bandwidth video transmission

How to use

Connect one end of the DisplayPort cable to the DisplayPort output on the source device (for example a graphics card or docking station) and the other end to the DisplayPort input on the monitor. Ensure both devices support DisplayPort 1.4 features to achieve maximum resolution and refresh rate. Secure the connectors and avoid sharp bends in the cable path. After connecting, configure the display resolution and refresh rate in the operating system or graphics driver settings to match the monitor capabilities.

Recommendations

For best results, use the cable with devices that explicitly support DisplayPort 1.4 and 8K output. Keep cable runs away from strong electromagnetic sources, avoid excessive twisting or kinking, and confirm that graphics drivers and monitor firmware are up to date to enable HDR and optimal performance.
