DisplayPort-kaapeli ShiverPeaks 8K 20 m malli 30-16095

DisplayPort cable ShiverPeaks 8K 20 m Model 30-16095 is a long-reach DisplayPort connection solution designed to transmit high-resolution digital video and audio between DisplayPort-equipped source devices and monitors. With a 20 metre length and specification for 8K signal support, this cable enables extended installations where distance between equipment exceeds typical desktop setups. The cable uses the standard DisplayPort connector to maintain compatibility with graphics cards, media players and professional AV gear that support DisplayPort output and input.

Advantages

The ShiverPeaks DisplayPort cable provides extended reach without requiring signal converters, supporting high-resolution 8K video where source and display support the format. Its length allows flexible placement of displays and AV equipment in conference rooms, control centres or studio environments. The cable retains digital audio support alongside video transmission and is suitable for multi-monitor configurations and long-run AV installations that use DisplayPort connectivity.

Suitable for

• Connecting DisplayPort-equipped PCs or media players to distant monitors or projectors
• Multi-monitor workstations and extended desktop setups
• Conference rooms, classrooms and meeting spaces requiring long cable runs
• Professional AV installations, control rooms and digital signage

Key specifications

• Cable type: DisplayPort
• Supported maximum resolution: specified for 8K signal support (dependent on source and display capabilities)
• Length: 20 m
• Signal type: digital video and audio over DisplayPort
• Connector: standard DisplayPort plugs on both ends

How to use

Connect one end of the DisplayPort cable to the DisplayPort output of your source device and the other end to the DisplayPort input of the monitor or display. Ensure both source and display are powered and configured to use the DisplayPort input via on-screen display or device settings. For optimal performance at very high resolutions, verify that the graphics card and monitor support 8K operation and set the appropriate resolution and refresh rate in the operating system or device menu. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension along the cable to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For sustained high-resolution performance, use with devices that explicitly support 8K over DisplayPort and keep connectors clean and firmly seated. Where possible, route the cable away from strong electromagnetic interference sources and avoid coiling tightly to reduce potential signal degradation over the 20 m run.
