Kaapeli DisplayPort HDMI Kramer Electronics C-DPM/HM-6 1,8 m

The Kramer C-DPM/HM-6 is a 1.8 m DisplayPort–to–HDMI cable designed to connect a DisplayPort source directly to an HDMI monitor or display. The male-to-male configuration removes the need for an intermediate adapter, simplifying the setup and reducing potential points of failure. It requires a dual-mode DisplayPort (DP++) source and is suitable for connecting modern laptops or desktops to HDMI-enabled displays. The cable is black and features high-quality connectors to support reliable signal transmission and resolutions up to 4K.

Advantages

The male-to-male design eliminates extra connections and lowers the chance of signal loss. Compatibility with DP++ devices allows direct conversion of DisplayPort signals to HDMI without active adapters. Its 1.8 m length provides convenient reach for typical home, office, and presentation setups, while robust connectors improve durability and connection stability.

Suitable for

• Connecting a DP++ laptop to an HDMI monitor or TV
• Desktop PC to HDMI display connections
• Home theater setups where a DisplayPort source must feed an HDMI display
• Professional presentations and meeting-room displays

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort end of the C-DPM/HM-6 cable to a DP++ output on your laptop or desktop and plug the HDMI end into the HDMI input of the monitor or TV. Power on both devices and select the appropriate input on the display. If the source supports DP++ and the display supports the selected resolution, the video signal should appear automatically. No external power or active converter is required for DP++ sources.

Recommendations

Ensure the source device implements dual‑mode DisplayPort (DP++). If the source is not DP++ capable, use an active converter instead. Avoid sharp bends near the connector ends and route the cable to prevent tension on the plugs for longer service life.
