Draka patch-kaapeli – RJ-45 (M) – RJ-45 (M)

Behind a busy office desk, a network technician replaces a faulty cable that has been causing intermittent connectivity for a workstation. The Draka Cat6 UTP Patch Cable is the reliable choice for such everyday tasks, ensuring a stable Gigabit Ethernet link between a PC and a wall outlet. This cable is built to handle the demands of modern office networks, providing consistent performance without the bulk of shielded alternatives.

Key specifications

• Category 6 performance, supporting up to 1 Gbps data transfer rates and 250 MHz bandwidth
• Unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) construction with 24 AWG bare copper conductors for excellent signal integrity
• RJ45 male connectors on both ends, featuring a snagless boot design to protect the locking tab during installation
• Durable grey PVC jacket that resists everyday wear and meets IEC 60332-1-2 flame retardancy standards
• Compliant with TIA/EIA-568-C.2 wiring standard and RoHS/CE directives

Why choose it

This patch cable offers a perfect balance of performance and flexibility. The UTP design keeps the cable lightweight and easy to route through cable management, while the snagless boots prevent accidental disconnections. With a 1-meter length, it is ideal for connecting devices in close proximity, reducing cable clutter without sacrificing signal quality.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting computers to network switches or wall outlets in office environments
• Linking IP phones, printers, and other Ethernet-enabled devices
• Use in data centers for short-distance patching between equipment

Good to know

The cable's unshielded design is suitable for most indoor environments where electromagnetic interference is minimal. Its grey jacket blends seamlessly with office decor, and the snagless connectors ensure longevity even with frequent reconnections.
