EFB Elektronik kuitu-pigtail SC 9/125 OS2 12 värin sarja 2m - singlemode-kaapeli/adapterisarja

In a busy data centre, a technician is splicing a 12-fibre trunk cable to patch panels, and each of the 12 individual pigtails in this set is colour-coded for quick identification and termination. The EFB Elektronik Fibre Pigtail SC 9/125 OS2 12-Colour Set provides 2-metre single-mode pigtails with SC/UPC connectors, ready for fusion splicing or mechanical splicing in high-density fibre installations.

Key specifications

• Fibre type: Single-mode OS2 (ITU-T G.652.D), 9/125 µm core/cladding
• Connector: SC/UPC with zirconia ceramic ferrule
• Pigtail length: 2 metres, 900 µm tight buffer, LSZH jacket
• Set includes 12 pigtails in different colours (IEC 60304 compliant)
• Insertion loss: ≤ 0.3 dB typical; return loss: ≥ 50 dB
• Operating temperature: -20°C to +70°C; storage: -40°C to +85°C
• Compliance: RoHS, IEC 61754-4, IEC 60793-2-50, TIA/EIA-568.3-D

Why choose it

This pigtail set simplifies fibre management by offering a complete colour-coded solution for 12-fibre splicing. The OS2 single-mode fibre supports long-distance, high-bandwidth applications, while the SC/UPC connectors ensure low insertion loss and high return loss for reliable connections. The LSZH jacket adds safety in enclosed spaces, and the tight buffer design protects the fibre during installation.

Ideal use cases

• Data centre fibre distribution and patching
• Telecommunications central offices and outside plant
• FTTx (Fibre to the Home/Building/Curb) deployments
• LAN backbone installations requiring single-mode fibre

Good to know

Each pigtail is individually colour-coded according to IEC 60304, making it easy to identify and manage fibres during splicing. The set is packaged as 12 individual pigtails, ready for immediate use.
