The EnGenius Cloud Managed Layer 2+ Switch ECS1112FP (CloudSwitch L2Plus 8 Full PoE) is a rack-mountable managed switch designed for small and medium-sized businesses. It provides eight Gigabit PoE+ RJ‑45 ports, two dual-speed SFP uplink ports and a total PoE budget of 130 W. The switch supports standard IEEE networking protocols, a MAC address table for device management and centralized cloud-based management with zero-touch provisioning for simplified deployment.

Advantages

This managed switch delivers full PoE+ on multiple ports and a 130 W power budget to power IP phones, wireless access points and cameras. Dual-speed SFP uplinks enable flexible fiber or copper connections to core networks. Cloud-based centralized management and zero-touch provisioning reduce setup time and ongoing administration. Advanced security features, Voice‑VLAN and PoE Extended Mode help prioritise voice and video traffic and improve overall network efficiency.

Suitable for

• Small and medium business offices
• VoIP telephony and unified communications
• Wireless access point backhaul
• IP camera deployments for small sites

Use the SFP uplink ports for fiber or copper uplinks to the core switch or router. Register the device in the EnGenius cloud management portal to enable zero-touch provisioning, apply configuration profiles and monitor status centrally.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, assign Voice‑VLAN for IP phones, enable PoE Extended Mode for devices requiring longer power delivery intervals, and use QoS settings to prioritise voice and video traffic. Ensure the total PoE power draw of connected devices does not exceed the 130 W budget; distribute high-power devices across ports accordingly.
