How to use

Connect the adapter to an AC power source in the 100–240 V range, then link its Ethernet port to a non-PoE switch or upstream network device. Use a single Cat5e/Cat6 Ethernet cable from the adapter to the target 802.3at/af-compatible device; the adapter will deliver both data and up to 30 W of power over that cable. Ensure cable runs do not exceed 100 m for reliable operation.

Recommendations

Install the EPA5006GAT in a dry, ventilated location and verify connected devices are 802.3af/at compatible. Use quality shielded or unshielded Cat5e/Cat6 cabling and avoid running Ethernet alongside high-voltage power lines to reduce interference and power loss.
