Equip Cat.6A S/FTP -ulkokäyttöön tarkoitettu verkkokaapeli, 10 m, RJ-45–RJ-45, musta

The EQUIP Cat.6A S/FTP Outdoor Patch Cable (10 m) is a shielded Ethernet cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed for outdoor networking where durable, interference-resistant cabling is required. It complies with Cat6a standards and supports data rates up to 10 Gbit/s, delivering reliable high-speed transmission for installations exposed to weather, UV and temperature variations.

Advantages

Advanced S/FTP shielding (foil with braid) and PIMF construction reduce crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, improving signal stability for data‑intensive applications. The cable features a stranded bare copper conductor and a molded boot with strain relief for secure connector performance. Its LDPE outdoor jacket is UV and oil resistant, splash‑water protected and abrasion‑resistant, providing extended lifespan in outdoor environments. The cable is RoHS compliant and conforms to ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173 standards.

Suitable for

• Outdoor network links between buildings or network cabinets
• Outdoor surveillance (IP cameras) and security systems
• IoT device connections and industrial networking
• PoE and PoE+ powered devices such as wireless access points
• High-bandwidth applications like video streaming and cloud services

How to use

Route the EQUIP Cat.6A S/FTP cable between network devices, ensuring connectors are fully inserted into RJ-45 ports until they click. Avoid sharp bends and unnecessary tension; use the molded strain relief when fastening to prevent connector damage. For outdoor runs, protect terminations and exposed connector points from direct water ingress using appropriate weatherproof enclosures or grommets. Follow standard network installation practices and test the link after installation to verify 10 Gbit/s performance where required.

Recommendations

For best results, install this Cat.6A S/FTP cable in conduit or with additional UV-protected routing where prolonged sunlight exposure or mechanical abrasion is expected. Use certified testers after installation to confirm shielding integrity and throughput for demanding applications.
