Equip LC/LC 62,5/125μm 1,0m InfiniBand/kuitu-kaapeli 1m oranssi

The equip® Optical Fiber Patch Cord (Fibre Optic Cable Equip LC/LC 62.5/125μm 1.0m) is a 1.0 m duplex LC–LC cable with OM1 62.5/125 µm core and ceramic-ferrule connectors. It is built from low-smoke, zero-halogen cladding and is supplied with a measurement protocol. The cable is intended for fibre-optic network links requiring standard multimode performance and reliable end-face geometry for reduced return loss and insertion loss.

Advantages

Constructed with ceramic-ferrule LC connectors, the patch cord provides consistent end-face geometry that helps lower return loss and insertion loss. The low-smoke, zero-halogen (LSZH) cladding improves safety in confined spaces. Each cable is delivered with a measurement protocol for verification, and the product complies with REACH requirements.

Suitable for

• Multimode network links (OM1, 62.5/125 µm)
• Short-distance data centre and LAN connections
• Full-duplex fibre connections with LC–LC interfaces
• Installations requiring LSZH cabling

How to use

Inspect connector end-faces and ensure fiber ports are clean before insertion. Align each LC connector with the corresponding LC duplex adapter or port and insert until a secure latch is felt. For full-duplex links, connect both fibers according to transmit/receive pairs. Avoid tight bends and maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius during routing.

Recommendations

Store the cable in a dust-free environment and use protective caps when connectors are not in use. Clean connectors with appropriate fiber-cleaning tools before installation to maintain low insertion and return loss. Follow local safety rules for LSZH cabling during installation.
