Equip LC/LC kuitu-patchkaapeli, OM4, 0,5 m

The Equip LC/LC Fiber Optic Patch Cable OM4 0.5m is a high-performance multimode patch cord with a 50 µm core diameter, designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in data centers and enterprise networks. The cable features LC connectors on both ends in an LC/LC configuration and supports full duplex communication for simultaneous send and receive operations. Constructed from quality materials, it aims to provide stable insertion loss, return loss, and consistent endface geometry.

Advantages

This OM4 LC/LC fiber patch cable provides low attenuation and stable optical performance suitable for short to medium-range high-bandwidth links. The 0.5 m length offers compact connectivity in patch panels or between closely spaced devices. LC connectors deliver a small form factor compatible with dense networking equipment, while OM4 grading supports higher modal bandwidth compared with lower OM classes.

Suitable for

• Short-range high-speed connections in data centers
• Server-to-switch or switch-to-switch patching
• Enterprise LAN backbone segments
• Fiber patch panels and equipment with LC ports

Key specifications

• Brand: EQUIP
• Model/MPN: 255519
• EAN: 4015867178782
• Type: Fiber Optic Patch Cable, LC to LC
• Fiber: Multimode OM4, 50 µm core diameter
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector configuration: LC/LC, duplex

How to use

Remove protective dust caps from the LC connectors before insertion. Align each LC connector with the matching LC port and push gently until it clicks to secure the connection. For duplex connections ensure correct orientation of transmit and receive channels. When disconnecting, press the latch and pull straight out to avoid bending the fiber.

Recommendations

Store the cable coiled loosely without sharp bends and avoid tight radii to maintain optical performance. Clean connector endfaces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before making connections to reduce insertion loss and preserve return loss specifications.
