The bit features an effective centering tip, reduced sliding friction and low heat generation, and is compatible with rotary and hammer drills that accept 10 mm or 13 mm chucks. It is suitable for use in hard and soft wood, coated chipboard, MDF, veneered panels and core boards, and is finished in a shining colour with black grooves.

How to use

Secure the drill bit in a compatible drill chuck (10 mm or 13 mm) and clamp the workpiece to prevent movement. Start drilling at low speed to engage the centering tip, then increase speed as appropriate for the material and hole diameter. Apply steady, even pressure without forcing the bit to avoid overheating. For deep holes, withdraw the bit periodically to clear chips and maintain cutting performance. For best results on veneered or coated boards, support the underside to reduce tear-out.
