The palm-sized AXIS D8004 Unmanaged PoE Switch (AXIS 02101-002) supplies network connectivity and Power over Ethernet for up to four devices with plug-and-play installation. Compliant with IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at, this unmanaged Fast Ethernet switch is suitable as a central power source for small surveillance installations or any setup where running multiple power cables is impractical. It uses a single DC-in power connection and four RJ-45 10/100 ports to deliver both data and power to connected devices.

Advantages

Compact and lightweight, the AXIS D8004 simplifies installation and maintenance by combining data and PoE power delivery in one unit. Its unmanaged design requires no configuration, offering straightforward plug-and-play operation. Compliance with IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at ensures compatibility with a wide range of PoE devices such as IP cameras and wireless access points.

Suitable for

• Small surveillance systems with up to four cameras
• Deployments where a single data cable from a core switch/router is preferred
• Powering PoE devices like IP cameras and wireless access points
• Simple network extensions without managed switching features
