Hallitsematon kytkin Digitus 8-porttinen 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet metallikotelo

The DIGITUS Unmanaged Switch DN-80069 is an 8-port Fast Ethernet switch providing 10/100 Mbps on each RJ45 port. Housed in a durable metal case and powered by an external 5 V DC adapter, the switch supports standard IEEE networking protocols and offers plug-and-play operation without configuration. It can be placed on a desk or mounted on a wall and is suitable for expanding small home or office networks.

Advantages

This unmanaged switch delivers eight 10/100 Mbps RJ45 ports with Auto-Negotiation and Auto MDI/MDIX, full-duplex flow control (IEEE 802.3x) and store-and-forward switching. The metal housing increases durability, while the external power supply eliminates the need for an internal fan. LED indicators show power and link/activity status, and the device requires no configuration for basic network expansion.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Expanding wired networks in small offices or home environments
• Connecting printers, NAS devices, IP cameras, and desktop PCs
• Simple plug-and-play network setups where no managed features are required
• Wall-mounted or desktop deployments in constrained spaces

How to use

Place the switch on a flat surface or mount it on a wall using appropriate fittings. Connect the external 5 V DC power adapter to the switch and plug it into a power outlet. Use standard Ethernet cables to connect devices to any of the eight RJ45 ports; the switch will automatically detect link speed and configure MDI/MDIX. Monitor LED indicators to confirm power and link/activity status.

Recommendations

Install the switch in a well-ventilated, dry location away from direct heat sources. Use quality Cat5e or Cat6 cables for reliable 100 Mbps connections. For critical or high-traffic environments, consider a managed or gigabit switch to meet higher performance or management requirements.
