Hallittava kytkin Cambium Networks cnMatrix TX2012R-P L2/L3 PoE 8 porttia

The Cambium Networks cnMatrix TX2012R-P is a managed L2/L3 switch designed for Wireless ISP (WISP) deployments. It provides eight Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) RJ-45 ports with Power over Ethernet (PoE) support, integrated Cambium synchronization features, and centralized management via the cnMaestro cloud system. The product aims to simplify installation and operations while delivering non-blocking, enterprise-grade switching for enhanced network performance.

Advantages

The cnMatrix TX series offers a fully integrated switching solution purpose-built for WISPs, combining L2/L3 functionality, flexible PoE, and Cambium synchronization in a single, easy-to-manage unit. It supports a large MAC address table (16,000 entries) and industry networking standards to ensure interoperability and resilient operation in robust network environments. Managed capabilities via cnMaestro enable centralized configuration and monitoring for simplified maintenance.

Suitable for

• Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISPs) deploying access layer and distribution switches
• Small to medium enterprise networks requiring PoE for access devices (CPEs, IP cameras, APs)
• Environments needing centralized cloud management and synchronization with Cambium connectivity solutions

How to use

Install the cnMatrix TX2012R-P in a standard rack or on a shelf and connect power and network uplinks according to site design. Attach PoE-powered devices to the Gigabit RJ-45 ports; configure VLANs, routing and QoS through the switch CLI or via the cnMaestro cloud interface. Use cnMaestro to apply templates, monitor status, and maintain firmware updates for consistent operation across the network.

Recommendations

For WISP deployments, place the cnMatrix TX series at access or aggregation points where PoE is required for customer premises equipment, access points or cameras. Configure appropriate VLAN segmentation and QoS policies to prioritize subscriber traffic and use centralized cnMaestro management to simplify large-scale device provisioning and monitoring.
