Hallittava kytkin HUAWEI S220S-8T2J L2 Gigabit Ethernet 8 porttia 1U harmaa

The HUAWEI eKitEngine S220S-8T2J is a managed Layer 2 Gigabit Ethernet switch in a 1U grey chassis, providing eight 10/100/1000 RJ-45 access ports and additional uplink ports for flexible network deployment. Designed for small and medium enterprises, hotels, factories, schools and building security systems, the S220S series supports multiple management methods, PoE persistence, smart upgrade via Huawei Online Upgrade Repository (HOUP), and both cloud and on-premise management through the HUAWEI eKit App and web/SNC tools.

Advantages

The S220S-8T2J offers flexible Ethernet networking with multi-rate GE/2.5GE electrical access and GE/2.5GE/10GE uplink options (series capability) and supports traditional STP/RSTP as well as ITU-T G.8032-based ERPS for millisecond-level protection switching. It provides diversified security controls including DoS protection and DHCP snooping with trusted-port enforcement. The switch supports perpetual PoE to keep powered devices running across restarts and smart one-click upgrade via HOUP to reduce maintenance effort and downtime. Hybrid cloud and on-premise management reduce onsite O&M requirements.

Suitable for

• Small and medium enterprise (SME) office networks
• Economy hotels and hospitality access networks
• Factory and industrial network access (non-industrial hardened environments)
• Primary and secondary education network classrooms and labs
• Building security and IP camera access

How to use

Install the S220S-8T2J in a standard 19-inch rack (1U) and connect client devices to the eight Gigabit RJ-45 access ports. Use the uplink ports for aggregation to core switches or routers according to your network design. Configure network settings, VLANs, STP/RSTP or ERPS, and security features via the HUAWEI eKit App, web GUI or SNC management as required. For firmware updates, use the HOUP-based smart upgrade to pre-load and perform one-click upgrades to minimize service interruption.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, deploy the S220S-8T2J in temperature-controlled network cabinets, keep firmware updated via HOUP, and enable DHCP snooping and DoS protection to secure access. For PoE-powered devices, verify power budget and use perpetual PoE where uninterrupted power is required during switch restarts.
