NETGEAR GS308LP hallitsematon Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) Power over Ethernet (PoE) pöytämalli musta

NETGEAR GS308LP is an unmanaged Gigabit PoE switch with eight 10/100/1000 RJ‑45 ports and integrated Power over Ethernet (54 V). Designed for desktop use with optional wall- or rack-mounting, the switch delivers non‑blocking wire‑speed performance, silent fanless operation and support for common Ethernet standards. With a 16 Gbit/s switching capacity and a MAC address table that supports up to 4,000 entries, this compact black switch is suited for small office networks, IP cameras, VoIP phones and other PoE devices that require reliable power and gigabit connectivity.

Advantages

The GS308LP provides plug‑and‑play installation with no configuration required, enabling quick deployment. Its non‑blocking switching architecture ensures maximum throughput across all ports at wire speed, while the fanless design enables silent operation suitable for noise‑sensitive environments. Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) reduces power consumption during low activity, and flexible PoE power budgeting allows adaptation to changing power requirements for connected devices. The unit supports desktop placement and includes hardware for wall or rack mounting.

Suitable for

• Small office networks requiring simple unmanaged switching
• Powering IP cameras and access points via PoE
• VoIP phone deployments in reception or office areas
• Edge connectivity where silent, fanless operation is preferred

How to use

Place the GS308LP on a desktop or mount it on a wall or rack using the supplied hardware. Connect a DC power supply included with the unit and plug network devices into the RJ‑45 ports. PoE devices will receive power automatically from supported ports; there is no software configuration required. For best results, use Cat5e or higher cabling for gigabit links and verify connected devices support IEEE 802.3af/at where PoE is required.

Recommendations

To maintain optimal performance, distribute PoE‑powered devices across ports to stay within the switch’s total power budget, use quality Ethernet cabling (Cat5e or Cat6), and install the switch in a ventilated, dust‑free environment despite its fanless design. Regularly update network endpoints and monitor device power draws when adding new PoE equipment.
