Hallittava kytkin PLANET AVS-4210-24HP4X 24 porttia 10G Ethernet PoE

The PLANET AVS-4210-24HP4X is a managed Layer 2/4 Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for professional AV installations. It provides 24 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 ports, 4 10G SFP+ slots for high-bandwidth uplinks, a 128 Gbit/s switching capacity and a MAC address table supporting 16,000 entries. The switch delivers IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++) on ports 1–8 and IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) on ports 9–24 with a total PoE budget of 450 W, enabling centralised power delivery for cameras, speakers, displays and other AV devices.

Advantages

The AVS-4210-24HP4X is engineered for tidy rack integration by repositioning RJ45 ports and the display panel to improve cable management and visual consistency with other Pro AV equipment. It includes ready-to-use multicast management (IGMP/MLD snooping) out of the box and supports common AV-over-IP protocols such as Dante and NDI for simplified plug-and-play audio and video networking. An intuitive web UI allows easy basic configuration for AV deployments while retaining full switch configuration options for advanced users. Additional features include link aggregation, 10G SFP+ connectivity for high-bandwidth links, robust Layer 2 functions (802.1Q, Q-in-Q, MSTP, LLDP, loop/BPDU guard) and remote management via PLANET UNI-NMS or CloudViewer/CloudViewerPro.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• AV-over-IP streaming and live event video distribution
• Powering and connecting PoE microphones, speakers and IP cameras
• Studio, theatre and auditorium networks requiring high-bandwidth uplinks
• Installations using Dante or NDI audio/video networking
• Centralised remote management of distributed AV devices

How to use

Rack-mount the AVS-4210-24HP4X and connect your uplink(s) to the 10G SFP+ slots for core or aggregation links. Attach PoE devices to RJ45 ports; ports 1–8 will supply PoE++ and ports 9–24 will supply PoE+. Use the simplified web UI to enable AV-over-IP settings and verify IGMP/MLD snooping is active for multicast streams. For advanced VLANs, link aggregation or MSTP configuration, switch to the full management UI. Optionally register the switch with UNI-NMS or CloudViewer/CloudViewerPro to enable remote monitoring and fault handling.

Recommendations

Verify total PoE power requirements of connected devices before deployment to ensure the 450 W PoE budget is not exceeded; distribute high-power devices across PoE++ ports (1–8) and monitor PD status via the web UI or remote management tools for automated PD Alive Check and device reboot when needed.
