Hallittava kytkin PLANET Layer 3 24-porttinen 10/100/1000T PoE

The PLANET GS-6311-24P4XV is a managed Layer 3 Gigabit switch with 24 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE+ ports and four 1G/10G SFP+ uplink ports. It offers a total PoE budget of up to 370 W, a switching capacity of 128 Gbps and advanced routing and security capabilities (static routing, RIP, OSPF, ACL, DHCP snooping). The switch includes an intuitive color LCD for Plug-and-Watch installation, real-time PoE and port status monitoring and simple troubleshooting without a PC. It is designed for enterprise deployments that require centralized PoE management, high-speed uplinks and resilient network features.

Advantages

The GS-6311-24P4XV combines high-density Gigabit PoE+ ports with 10Gbps-capable SFP+ uplinks and a 128 Gbps non-blocking fabric to support heavy traffic loads. Built-in PoE scheduling, intelligent PD alive checking and a 370 W power budget enable centralized power delivery for IP cameras, VoIP phones and wireless access points while reducing cabling and installation costs. Redundant ring support with G.8032 ERPS, MSTP and fast recovery, plus Layer 2–4 traffic control and comprehensive security features, provide reliability and protection for enterprise and ISP networks.

Suitable for

• IP surveillance systems with multiple PoE cameras (IR, PTZ, speed dome, box cameras)
• Enterprise and campus networks requiring Layer 3 routing and 10Gb uplinks
• Hotels, shopping malls and government buildings needing centralized PoE management
• VoIP deployments and wireless LAN access point aggregation
• Service provider edge or multi-tenant networks requiring traffic control and security

How to use

Install the switch in a standard 19-inch rack or on a flat surface, connect power and attach network cables to the Gigabit RJ‑45 PoE ports and SFP+ uplinks as required. Use the front-panel color LCD to perform initial IP setup, set PoE schedules, monitor PoE/port status and run loop detection without a PC. For deeper configuration, access the Web GUI or CLI via console/Telnet and configure Layer 3 routing (static/RIP/OSPF), VLANs, aggregation and security policies. Insert SFP/SFP+ transceivers into the SFP+ slots for 1G or 10G fiber links and verify SFP-DDM readings if available.

Recommendations

For reliable PoE deployments, plan the total power budget of connected devices to stay within the 370 W limit, enable PoE schedule to reduce power consumption when devices are not needed, and configure PD alive check to automatically reboot unresponsive PoE devices. Use SFP+ 10G links for backbone connections to servers or core switches and enable ERPS/MSTP for fast failover in ring or redundant topologies.
