Hama 00178104 polkupyörän varaosa/tarvike polkupyörän venttiili

The Hama 00178104 bicycle valve is a metal valve designed to replace or upgrade standard bicycle tire valves. Supplied as a set of two, the valves combine a black and silver finish with a compact form intended for direct installation on bicycle inner tubes or compatible tubeless systems. The component is intended to provide a durable connection point for inflating and maintaining correct tire pressure during regular cycling and occasional maintenance.

Advantages

Constructed from metal for improved durability compared with plastic alternatives, the Hama bicycle valve offers stable performance under normal riding conditions. The black and silver finish provides a neutral aesthetic that integrates with most wheel designs. Supplied in pairs, the package ensures a spare valve is available for maintenance or replacement. The valve design supports straightforward installation and reliable sealing when fitted correctly.

How to use

Remove the old valve core or valve assembly from the inner tube or rim according to your wheel type. Insert the Hama metal valve through the valve hole, ensuring the valve base seats evenly against the rim or tube to form a proper seal. Secure any locking nuts or retaining hardware provided by the wheel or tube manufacturer and tighten to the recommended torque to avoid leaks. Attach a compatible pump head and inflate to the tire pressure recommended by the bicycle or tire manufacturer. If the valve includes a removable core, check that the core is tightened after inflation to maintain pressure.

Recommendations

Before installation, confirm the valve type and diameter match your rim and tube. Use a pump with the appropriate valve head (Schrader/Presta adapter as required) and avoid overtightening the valve or locking nut to prevent damage. Periodically inspect the valve for signs of corrosion or wear and replace both valves in the wheel pair if one shows damage to maintain balanced performance.
