How to use

Connect the VGA (D-Sub) plug to the computer's VGA output and insert the USB Type-A plug into a USB port on the source device to provide power and carry audio. Plug the HDMI connector into the HDMI input of the monitor, TV or projector. Select the HDMI input on the display and, if necessary, configure display settings (resolution, duplicate/extend) on the source computer.

Recommendations

Use a stable USB port that supplies sufficient current for the adapter; avoid USB hubs that may not provide adequate power. For best video quality, set the source device output to 1080p and secure VGA connections to prevent signal loss.
