HDD-kotelo LC-Power LC-25U3-Hydra musta 2,5"

The LC-Power LC-25U3-Hydra Black 2.5" is an external HDD enclosure for one 2.5" SATA drive. The housing combines aluminium and plastic for improved heat dissipation and a compact, portable form factor. It supports Serial ATA, Serial ATA II and Serial ATA III drives and connects to a host system via a USB 3.0 (USB 3.2 Gen 1) interface for high-speed data transfer.

Advantages

Aluminium elements in the body enhance thermal management while the overall lightweight construction (0.157 kg) makes the enclosure easy to carry. The USB 3.0 connector offers backward compatibility with older USB standards while enabling faster transfer rates when used with compatible hosts. Its 2.5" size supports common laptop HDDs and SSDs for convenient storage expansion or data migration.

Suitable for

• Expanding external storage with a single 2.5" SATA HDD or SSD
• Backing up or transferring data between computers
• Using laptop drives as portable external drives
• Temporary access to drives for diagnostics or cloning

How to use

Open the enclosure according to the manufacturer instructions, insert a compatible 2.5" SATA drive into the SATA connector and secure it if required. Close the enclosure, connect it to the computer using the supplied USB 3.0 cable and wait for the operating system to recognise the drive. If the drive is new, initialise and format it in the OS disk management utility before use.

Recommendations

Use the enclosure on stable surfaces and avoid blocking ventilation around the aluminium body. For best performance, connect to a USB 3.0/3.2 Gen 1 port on the host device and use high-quality cables. Handle drives carefully during installation to prevent mechanical damage.
