HDMI-A kaapelisovitin ShiverPeaks SP10-01050 musta hopea

The ShiverPeaks SP10-01050 Black Silver is an HDMI-A cable gender changer designed to join two HDMI-A cables while preserving signal integrity. With gold-plated contacts, the adapter aims to reduce contact resistance and support clear transmission of high-definition video and multi-channel audio. Its compact, low-profile housing in black and silver finish provides a simple, unobtrusive connection solution for home and office AV setups.

Advantages

The adapter uses gold-plated contacts to improve conductivity and resist corrosion, supporting reliable electrical contact over repeated connections. Its HDMI-A to HDMI-A configuration allows two male HDMI cables to be connected without modifying existing cables. The compact metal-accent housing offers mechanical protection for the connector and a neutral aesthetic that fits with most AV equipment. The straightforward design requires no power or drivers and is ready to use immediately.

Suitable for

• Extending reach by joining two HDMI-A cables
• Connecting display devices where an extra cable length is needed
• Temporary AV setups in home theaters, meeting rooms, or trade show booths
• Linking existing HDMI-A cables without replacing them

Key specifications

• Connector type: HDMI-A (female to female, designed for two HDMI-A male cables)
• Contact finish: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Housing: compact enclosure with black and silver finish
• Signal support: designed for digital HDMI video and multi-channel audio transmission
• Power requirements: passive, no external power needed

How to use

Align each male HDMI-A cable with the adapter’s HDMI-A ports and insert fully until a secure connection is felt. Ensure cables are inserted straight to avoid bending connector pins. After connection, verify the video and audio signal on the display and source device. If signal issues occur, reseat the cable ends and check both source and display settings for compatible resolutions and refresh rates.

Recommendations

For optimal signal quality, use the gender changer with high-quality, well-shielded HDMI cables and avoid excessive cable length beyond recommended HDMI standards. Keep the adapter and connected cables free from strain or sharp bends; use cable management to reduce mechanical stress on connectors. If using for high-bandwidth signals (4K/60 Hz or higher), confirm that connected cables and devices support the required HDMI bandwidth.
