HDMI-kaapeli ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 3 m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 3m HDMI cable provides a straightforward connection between HDMI-equipped devices. With HDMI Type A standard connectors on both ends and a 3 metre length, the cable is designed to link TVs, monitors, projectors, gaming consoles and media players while keeping cables tidy. The black finish fits into most AV and desktop setups.

Advantages

The cable features gold-plated HDMI Type A connectors to improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion. It supports a data transfer rate up to 8.16 Gbit/s, enabling transmission of high-quality digital audio and video signals. The 3 m length offers flexibility for typical living-room, office or meeting-room layouts without excessive slack. The construction balances everyday durability with a low-profile design suitable for concealed or visible installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting a Blu-ray player, set-top box or streaming device to a TV or AVR
• Linking a PC or laptop to an external monitor for work or home office use
• Connecting a game console to a TV or monitor for gaming
• Connecting a projector for presentations in small meeting rooms or classrooms

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 m
• Connector type (both ends): HDMI Type A (Standard)
• Data transfer rate: up to 8.16 Gbit/s
• Colour: Black
• Contact plating: Gold-plated connector contacts

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A connector to the HDMI port on the source device (for example a Blu-ray player, media streamer, PC or console) and the other HDMI Type A connector to the HDMI input on the display device (TV, monitor or projector). Ensure both devices are powered off when inserting the connectors to avoid hot-plugging issues, then power the devices on and select the corresponding HDMI input on the display. Adjust display resolution and audio settings on the source device as needed.

Recommendations

Route the cable away from power cords and strong EMI sources for best signal integrity. Avoid sharp bends and repeated heavy flexing near the connectors. For longer runs or advanced features (such as higher bandwidth required for 4K@60Hz with chroma subsampling or HDR formats), verify the required cable specification and consider a higher-rated HDMI cable if necessary.
