HEKATRON ORS 142 K optinen savukytkin kanavavalvontaan (5000558-0201)

Detects smoke in ventilation and air conditioning ducts using the optical scattered light principle, triggering a potential-free changeover relay for alarm and fault signaling.

Overview

The HEKATRON ORS 142 K is an optical smoke switch designed for monitoring air ducts. It operates on 18–30 V DC and provides separate alarm and fault relay outputs. The multi-color LED indicates operation, alarm, and fault status. Housed in ABS plastic, it offers IP54 protection with appropriate cable glands and connects via screw terminals up to 2.5 mm².

What stands out

• Optical scattered light detection for early smoke recognition
• Two potential-free changeover contacts: alarm and fault
• Wide operating temperature range: -20 °C to +60 °C
• VdS approved (G201006) for reliable performance
