Hiomanauha 3M Cubitron II 150 x 2000 mm, raekoko 80+

Abrasive Sanding Belt 3M Cubitron II 150 x 2000 mm, grit 80+ is a high-performance sanding belt engineered for fast material removal and consistent finish on both flat and contoured surfaces. Developed with 3M's precision-shaped ceramic abrasive technology, this belt is designed to maintain cutting speed and resist loading during heavy-duty grinding, deburring and surface preparation tasks. It fits belt sanders that accept 150 x 2000 mm belts and is suitable for a wide range of workshop and industrial applications on metal and wood.

Advantages

The 3M Cubitron II belt provides rapid cutting action with reduced heat generation compared to conventional abrasives, which helps extend belt life and improves throughput. Its ceramic abrasive particles are shaped for consistent fracturing, maintaining sharp edges longer and delivering steady performance throughout the belt's life. The backing construction offers good strength and stability to withstand high-pressure sanding and repeated use.

How to use

Install the sanding belt on a belt sander that accepts 150 x 2000 mm belts, ensuring correct tracking and tension according to the sander manufacturer's instructions. Start with moderate pressure and allow the abrasive to perform the cutting; avoid excessive force that can reduce belt life. For best results on metal, move the sander evenly across the surface and maintain consistent travel speed. For wood, follow the grain where appropriate and finish with finer abrasives if a smoother surface is required.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves and respiratory protection during sanding. Inspect the workpiece and belt regularly for wear or damage and replace the belt when cutting efficiency declines. Store belts in a dry, moderate-temperature environment to preserve backing stability and abrasive performance.
