Hiomapaperit Makita E-18194 karkeus 240, 10 kpl:n pakkaus

Makita E-18194 sanding sheets in 240 grit are designed for fine finishing and light sanding tasks on wood, painted surfaces and primer coats. Supplied in a pack of 10, these abrasive sheets fit standard-size sheet sanders and provide consistent, fine abrasion to smooth surfaces, remove light imperfections and prepare substrates for final finishing. The 240-grit abrasive is suitable where a delicate touch is required to avoid visible sanding marks while still improving surface uniformity and adhesion for subsequent coatings.

Advantages

These sanding sheets offer uniform grit distribution for predictable cut and consistent results across the working area. Their fine 240-grit abrasive balances material removal with surface refinement, reducing the need for additional hand-sanding. Supplied as a pack of 10, they provide a ready quantity for multiple small projects or staged finishing steps. The sheets are compatible with common sheet sander models that accept standard dimensions, simplifying replacement and ensuring efficient workflow.

Suitable for

• Fine sanding of wooden furniture and trim
• Smoothing primer and paint between coats
• Final surface preparation before varnish or lacquer
• Light removal of minor imperfections and dust nibs

Key specifications

• Abrasive grit: 240 (fine)
• Pack quantity: 10 sheets
• Intended materials: wood, painted surfaces, primer
• Compatibility: sheet sanders accepting standard-size sheets
• Primary use: finishing and light sanding

How to use

Attach a sheet to a compatible sheet sander following the tool manufacturer's guidance on alignment and clamping. Begin sanding with light to moderate pressure, keeping the sander moving evenly across the surface to avoid creating flat spots or uneven abrasion. For painted or primed surfaces, sand between coats with gentle passes until the surface feels uniformly smooth; wipe off dust with a tack cloth before applying the next coat. Replace the sheet when abrasive performance declines or when clogging reduces effectiveness.

Recommendations

Use the 240-grit sheets for final pre-finishing steps rather than aggressive material removal. For rougher surfaces, start with a coarser grit and progress to 240 for the final pass. Work in a well-ventilated area and use appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye protection and a dust mask when sanding painted or treated surfaces.
