HPE 800GB SAS 12G Mixed Use SFF 2,5 tuuman SSD P04174-002

In a busy data center, system administrators need storage that keeps up with demanding virtualization and database workloads. The HPE 800GB SAS 12G Mixed Use SFF 2.5in SSD delivers consistent performance for read-intensive and mixed-use applications in HPE ProLiant Gen9 and Gen10 servers.

• Hot-swap support: Yes
• Carrier type: Smart Carrier (SC)
• Firmware: Digitally Signed Firmware (DSF)
• MTBF: 2,000,000 hours

Why choose it

This drive balances performance and endurance, making it suitable for workloads that require more write activity than a read-intensive SSD but not the extreme endurance of a write-intensive model. With 3 DWPD, it can handle a full overwrite of its capacity three times per day for five years.

Ideal use cases

• Virtualization environments
• Database servers
• Business-critical applications
• HPE ProLiant, Synergy, and Apollo systems

Good to know

The drive uses a standard 2.5-inch small form factor and is compatible with HPE SmartDrive carriers. It is designed for hot-swap operation, allowing replacement without powering down the server.
