Slow, unreliable Wi-Fi can cripple a small business, causing dropped video calls, lagging point-of-sale systems, and frustrated customers. The HPE Aruba Instant On AP22 (RW) Access Point eliminates these pain points by delivering fast, secure, and easy-to-manage Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. This dual-band access point is engineered for small offices, retail shops, and hospitality venues that need enterprise-grade performance without complex IT overhead.

Who is it for

This access point is ideal for small to medium businesses, boutique hotels, cafes, clinics, and remote branch offices. It suits owners and managers who want reliable wireless coverage for up to 75 concurrent devices—laptops, smartphones, tablets, POS terminals, and IoT sensors—without hiring a dedicated network administrator. If you need a cloud-managed solution that you can set up in minutes and monitor from anywhere, the AP22 is built for you.

Tips

To get the best performance, mount the AP22 on a ceiling in a central location, away from metal obstructions and microwave ovens. Use the Aruba Instant On app to run a site survey and adjust transmit power for optimal coverage. For larger spaces, simply add more AP22 units and enable mesh mode—no Ethernet cabling needed between them. If you plan to power the AP with a DC adapter, purchase a 12V adapter separately; PoE switches or injectors are recommended for cleaner installations. Keep the firmware updated via the cloud to benefit from the latest security patches and features.
