HPE Mixed Use 400GB SAS 12Gb/s 2,5" SFF Hot-Swap SSD SmartDrive Carrier 872374-B21

Server workloads that mix reads and writes can push standard SSDs to their endurance limits, causing premature wear and unpredictable performance. The HPE Mixed Use 400GB SAS 12Gb/s SSD is engineered to handle these demanding environments, providing consistent low-latency access for virtualized databases, OLTP, and other latency-sensitive applications.

Who is it for

IT administrators and data center managers who need reliable, high-performance storage for HPE ProLiant Gen9/Gen10 servers. This drive is ideal for mixed read/write workloads where endurance and consistent performance are critical.

Main features

• 400GB storage capacity with 3D TLC NAND for balanced performance and endurance
• Dual-port SAS 12Gb/s interface for high throughput and redundancy
• Hot-swap 2.5-inch SFF form factor with HPE SmartDrive carrier for tool-less installation
• Digitally signed firmware ensures authenticity and integrity
• Endurance rated at 3 drive writes per day (DWPD) for mixed-use workloads
• High random I/O performance: up to 130,000 read IOPS and 60,000 write IOPS
