Verkkosovitin HP Enterprise PCA 2-porttinen 10/25G SFP28 P31327-001

HP Enterprise PCA 2‑port 10/25G SFP28 is a server network adapter that provides two SFP28 ports with support for 10G and 25G speeds. Designed for compatible HPE systems, the card installs in the host platform’s PCA slot to enable low‑latency, high‑throughput connections for virtualization, storage networking and data center uplinks. The adapter supports standard SFP28 modules, allowing flexible choice of optics and cabling to match network topology and distance requirements.

Advantages

This network adapter delivers dual-port 10/25G connectivity with a small form-factor suitable for system PCA slots, minimizing rack space impact while increasing per-server bandwidth. It provides hardware-level support for high-throughput traffic patterns and low latency required by storage and virtualization workloads. The use of SFP28 ports ensures compatibility with a wide range of optical and DAC modules for diverse deployment scenarios.

Suitable for

• Virtualization hosts requiring increased east‑west bandwidth
• Converged storage networks and iSCSI or NVMe over Fabrics uplinks
• Data center server-to-switch uplinks at 10G or 25G
• Environments needing flexible optics choice (short-reach DAC or optical transceivers)

Key specifications

• Ports: 2 SFP28 ports supporting 10G and 25G link speeds
• Form factor: PCA card designed for compatible HPE host slots
• Supported media: SFP28 transceivers and direct attach copper (DAC)
• Primary use: server networking for virtualization, storage and uplinks
• Performance: low-latency, high-throughput links suitable for data center workloads

How to use

Install the adapter in the designated PCA slot of a compatible HPE server following the host platform service manual for proper seating and securing. Insert appropriate SFP28 modules or DAC cables into the ports according to required link speed and distance. Configure network settings and drivers within the server operating system or hypervisor, and verify link status through system management tools. For best results, ensure firmware and drivers are kept up to date per HPE support guidance.

Recommendations

Choose SFP28 transceivers or DAC cables that match your required reach and speed, and verify compatibility with the host server model. Use proper airflow and cooling in the server chassis to maintain performance under sustained high throughput. Regularly update firmware and NIC drivers from official HPE sources to ensure stability and interoperability.
