Hyönteissuojan vaihtorulla Tesa 55442-00 Clear-View – vaihtoverkko ikkuna- ja oviverkkoihin

Replacement roll of insect screen mesh Tesa Clear-View is designed for repairing or rebuilding window and door screens. The clear-view mesh restores protection against insects while maintaining good visibility and airflow. The roll can be cut to required dimensions and mounted into existing frames, making it suitable for home windows, balcony and patio doors, and other openings where a transparent and functional insect barrier is needed.

Advantages

The clear-view mesh offers a low-visibility structure that preserves sightlines and natural light while preventing insects from entering living spaces. Its flexible material allows easy cutting to custom sizes and straightforward installation in standard screen frames. The mesh resists common weathering and maintains airflow, enabling ventilation without compromising protection.

Suitable for

• Repairing damaged window insect screens
• Replacing worn door screens for patios and balconies
• Custom-cut screening for non-standard frames and openings
• Maintaining airflow in living areas while keeping insects out

Key specifications

• Material: fine woven synthetic mesh designed for visibility and airflow
• Appearance: clear-view / low-visibility mesh
• Form factor: roll suitable for cutting to size
• Intended use: window and door insect screening
• Compatibility: fits standard screen frames when cut appropriately

How to use

Measure the frame opening accurately and cut the replacement mesh from the roll allowing slight overlap for fixing. Position the mesh over the frame and attach it using the original spline and spline roller or appropriate fasteners for the frame type. Trim excess material for a clean fit and ensure the mesh is taut to prevent sagging. For door applications, pay attention to hinge and latch areas to avoid interference with operation.

Recommendations

Use a sharp utility knife or scissors for clean cuts and a spline roller with the correct spline diameter to secure the mesh. Store unused roll material in a dry area out of direct sunlight to avoid premature degradation. For large or irregular openings consider measuring twice and cutting progressively to achieve a precise fit.
