Hypertec 245761-HY verkkokaapeli keltainen 15 m Cat6 U/UTP (UTP)

Exertis Connect Cat. 6 U/UTP patch cable, 15.0 m in yellow, is a structured Ethernet cable designed to carry network signals at Category 6 performance. The U/UTP construction (unshielded pairs with unshielded overall jacket) delivers consistent transmission for standard 1 Gbps Ethernet and other applications within Cat6 specifications. The 15.0 m length provides a mid-range reach suitable for connecting switches, routers, patch panels and wall outlets in office, data centre and home network environments.

Advantages

The cable offers Cat6-rated performance with U/UTP construction that balances signal integrity and flexibility. Its 15.0 m length reduces the need for intermediate patching points while maintaining manageable cable routing. The yellow jacket provides clear visual identification to separate network segments or signal types. The cable is compatible with RJ45 modular connectors and standard LAN termination practices, making it straightforward to integrate into existing structured cabling systems.

How to use

Route the patch cable between network ports ensuring the cable is not excessively bent or crushed. Plug RJ45 connectors into the corresponding ports on switches, routers, patch panels or endpoint devices until they click into place. Keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and high-voltage power lines to minimise potential interference. When installing multiple cables, use cable management accessories to maintain separation and airflow in racks and trays.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use the cable within Cat6-supported environments and avoid long daisy-chained patch runs beyond structured cabling limits. Test connections with a network tester after installation to verify continuity and performance. Store spare cables coiled loosely and avoid sharp kinks; replace any cable with visible damage to the jacket or conductors.
