InfiniBand/kuituoptinen kaapeli BlueOptics QTAPCABLE3M 3 m QSFP uros/uros

The BlueOptics QTAPCABLE3M is a 3 m InfiniBand/fibre optic cable with QSFP male-to-male connectors, designed for high-speed data transfer in professional networking environments. It supports short-range, low-latency connections between switches, servers and storage systems where reliable optical links and compact cabling are required.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable provides predictable signal quality and reduced electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives. The QSFP male-to-male termination enables direct connection between compatible QSFP ports without additional adapters. At 3 metres length the cable offers a balance between reach and cable management convenience in rack and data center installations.

How to use

Identify QSFP ports on the equipment to be connected, ensuring both ends are compatible with QSFP male connectors. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended by the hardware manufacturer. Insert each QSFP connector into the corresponding port until it seats firmly. Verify link lights and system diagnostics to confirm the optical link is active and operating at the expected data rate.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, keep connector end faces clean and protected from dust when not in use. Use gentle cleaning tools designed for fibre optics and avoid touching the ferrule surface. Plan cable routing to minimize stress and heat exposure; label both ends to simplify maintenance and future changes.
