InLine-adapteri DB15 HD VGA S-VGA uros-uros

The InLine Adapter DB15 HD VGA S-VGA male male is a compact mini gender-changer designed to join or adapt two VGA (D-sub) HD cables with 15-pin female connectors. Its silver-coloured finish and silver-plated connectors provide a reliable physical connection for VGA video signals without requiring additional cabling. The adapter is intended for simple signal pass-through between devices that use Sub-D 15-pin VGA interfaces, such as monitors, projectors and PCs.

Advantages

This InLine adapter offers a straightforward solution for converting two VGA female-terminated cables into a continuous connection using durable silver connectors. Its small form factor makes it easy to install in tight spaces and to carry as part of an AV accessory kit. The adapter preserves the original VGA pinout to maintain compatibility with standard analog VGA signals and helps avoid the need to replace cabling when adapting between two female ends.

How to use

To use the adapter, align the 15-pin male connector with the female VGA connector on the cable or device and gently push until fully seated. Secure the connection using any thumbscrews present on the cable connectors if applicable. Repeat the process for the second side to join two female-ended VGA cables. The adapter transmits standard analog VGA signals and does not convert signal formats, so ensure both connected devices and cables support VGA.

Recommendations

Use the adapter indoors and avoid subjecting it to excessive strain, moisture or extreme temperatures. For best signal quality, keep overall VGA cable lengths within recommended limits for analog video and use high-quality shielded VGA cables. This adapter is intended for passive connection; if signal conversion (e.g., VGA to HDMI) or active amplification is required, choose an appropriate converter or signal booster.
