InLine DisplayPort 1.4 AOC -kaapeli, 8K4K, musta, 15 m

The InLine DisplayPort 1.4 AOC Cable 15m is a fiber-based active optical cable designed to transmit high-resolution video and audio signals over a long distance. With a 15 m length and DisplayPort connectors on both ends, this AOC cable supports the DisplayPort 1.4 standard and is suitable for carrying high-bandwidth content such as 8K and 4K video streams. The cable's optical construction reduces signal loss and electromagnetic interference while remaining lightweight and flexible for neat installations between workstation components, monitors, and AV equipment.

Advantages

This DisplayPort 1.4 AOC cable delivers stable long-distance transmission without the bulk and attenuation associated with long copper cables. The active optical design enables high bandwidth necessary for 8K/4K resolutions and high refresh rates while keeping the cable thin and easy to route. Durable connector housings and strain-relieved ends provide reliable mating and reduced wear during repeated use. The black finish offers a discreet appearance for professional setups and home installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting high-resolution monitors to PCs or graphics workstations across extended distances
• Gaming setups requiring support for high refresh rates and large resolutions
• Professional video editing, color grading, and CAD systems that need stable 4K/8K signal delivery
• AV installations in conference rooms, classrooms, digital signage, and control rooms

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Standard: DisplayPort 1.4 (active optical cable)
• Connectors: DisplayPort to DisplayPort
• Supported resolutions: up to 8K and 4K formats with HDR support depending on source and display
• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (AOC) — low attenuation over long distances
• Color: Black

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort connector to the source device (PC, workstation, or media player) and the other DisplayPort connector to the target display or monitor. Ensure both devices support DisplayPort 1.4 features if you intend to use 8K, high refresh rates, or HDR. Avoid sharp bends near the connector ends and route the cable without tight kinks; the AOC is flexible but benefits from gentle curves. No external power supply is required for normal operation; the cable's active components receive power through the DisplayPort connection.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, verify that both source and display firmware and drivers are up to date and that display settings (resolution, refresh rate, and HDR) match the capabilities of your hardware. When routing the 15 m cable through tight spaces, maintain a minimum bend radius recommended by the manufacturer to prevent damage to the optical fibers. Use quality DisplayPort ports and avoid passive adapters that may limit bandwidth.
