InLine kuitu-duplexkaapeli LC/SC 50/125 µm OM3 35 m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/SC OM3 35m 50/125µm is a multimode duplex patch cable designed for high-speed network connections and reliable data transmission. Featuring LC connector on one end and SC connector on the other, this 35‑metre OM3 fiber cable supports full duplex communication and is suitable for structured cabling in data centers, server rooms and enterprise networks. The 50/125 µm core/cladding dimension and OM3 specification make it compatible with 10 Gigabit Ethernet and other multimode applications where controlled modal bandwidth and low attenuation are required.

Advantages

This duplex fiber cable delivers low insertion loss and consistent signal quality across the 35 m length. The combination of LC and SC connectors provides flexible connectivity options for equipment with different interface types. OM3 multimode fiber improves bandwidth-distance performance compared with lower-grade multimode fibers, enabling longer reach for high-speed links. The cable's duplex construction simplifies full duplex transmission and helps maintain correct polarity for networking equipment.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links within data centres and server rooms
• Patch panels and switch-to-transceiver connections
• Multimode fibre backbone and horizontal cabling runs up to 35 m
• Interconnection between devices with LC and SC ports

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM3
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Length: 35 m
• Connector A: LC duplex
• Connector B: SC duplex
• Polarity: Duplex (maintains transmit/receive pairing)
• Application: Structured cabling, patching, short to medium distance links

How to use

Identify the LC and SC ports on the networking equipment and patch panels before installation. Route the fiber cable along existing cable trays or designated pathways, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tensile stress. Connect the LC duplex end to devices with LC ports and the SC duplex end to devices or panel adapters with SC ports, ensuring connectors are clean and free from dust. Verify link status and test optical performance with appropriate testing equipment after installation.

Recommendations

Maintain connector cleanliness by using dust caps until final connection and clean ferrules with proper fiber cleaning tools when necessary. Observe minimum bend radius guidelines for OM3 multimode fiber and avoid kinking. For optimal performance in 10 Gb/s applications, confirm that transceivers and patching equipment support OM3 specifications and multimode operation.
