InLine kuitu-duplexkaapeli LC/SC 50/125µm OM4 25m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/SC 50/125µm OM4 25m is a multimode duplex fiber cable designed for high-speed data transmission over short to medium distances. It features a 50 µm core diameter and OM4 grading to support enhanced modal bandwidth for data centre and enterprise network links. The cable is terminated with two LC connectors on one end and two SC connectors on the other, enabling full duplex connections between LC- and SC-equipped devices or patch panels. With a 25 meter length, this fiber optic cable is suited for structured cabling runs where reliable multimode performance is required.

Advantages

OM4 multimode fiber construction provides improved bandwidth and transmission performance compared with lower OM grades for applications that require higher data rates. The 50/125 µm core/cladding ratio ensures compatibility with standard multimode transceivers and active equipment. Duplex termination with LC and SC connectors offers flexibility when connecting different types of ports without additional adapters, reducing installation complexity. The 25 m length allows for convenient routing in racks and between rooms while maintaining signal integrity for typical data centre and building network layouts.

Suitable for

• Data centre interconnects and patch-panel links
• Campus and enterprise LAN backbone segments
• Multimode optical transceiver connections (LC to SC)
• Short to medium distance server-to-switch cabling

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM4
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector configuration: Duplex (2x LC on one end, 2x SC on the other)
• Cable length: 25 m
• Duplex support: Full duplex

How to use

Uncoil the cable gently to avoid tight bends and inspect connectors for dust or debris before installation. Align the LC connectors with LC ports and the SC connectors with SC ports on the devices or patch panels, then insert until each connector latches securely. Route the cable using appropriate cable management to maintain minimum bend radius and prevent kinks. For best performance, avoid running the fiber next to sources of electromagnetic interference and keep the fiber ends protected when not connected.

Recommendations

Clean connector endfaces with suitable fiber cleaning tools before each connection, follow minimal bend radius guidelines for OM4 multimode fiber, and use proper strain relief and patch panel routing to preserve optical performance over time.
