InLine kuitu-duplexkaapeli ST/ST 50/125µm OM3 1m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable ST/ST 50/125µm OM3 1m is a duplex multimode fiber cable designed for high-speed data transmission in local networks. It features ST connectors on both ends and a 50/125 µm core/cladding structure that meets OM3 specifications, providing reliable optical performance for short- to medium-range links. The 1-meter length suits rack-to-equipment or patching applications where a short interconnect is required.

Advantages

This duplex cable uses OM3 multimode fiber for improved bandwidth and reduced modal dispersion compared with lower OM grades. ST/ST connectors ensure secure bayonet-style connections common in professional networking equipment. The cable’s 1 m length offers flexibility for tidy installations and avoids excessive slack. It is built to support typical multimode fiber applications while maintaining signal integrity for data and storage area network links.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Patch connections in server rooms and communication racks
• Short-distance multimode fiber links between network devices
• Connecting switches, transceivers and fiber ports with ST interfaces

Key specifications

How to use

Identify ST fiber ports on your devices and ensure both ends are clean before connecting. Align each ST connector with the device’s receptacle, insert and twist the bayonet coupling until it locks. Use the 1 m duplex cable to establish a direct fiber link between transceivers, switches or patch panels. Avoid sharp bends and secure the cable to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dust-free environment; use fiber dust caps when ports are unused and follow standard multimode fiber cleaning procedures to maintain optimal performance.
