InLine kuituoptinen duplex-kaapeli ST/ST 50/125µm OM4 7,5m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable ST/ST 50/125µm OM4 7.5m is a multimode duplex fiber cable with a 50 µm core diameter designed for full-duplex data transmission. Fitted with ST connectors on both ends, the cable supports high-bandwidth networking and minimizes signal loss for short to medium cable runs up to 7.5 metres.

Advantages

This OM4 multimode cable provides increased bandwidth and improved performance compared with lower-grade multimode fibers, and its duplex construction enables simultaneous bidirectional communication. ST connectors ensure a secure bayonet-style connection compatible with devices featuring ST ports. The 7.5 m length is suitable for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment links within network closets and data centres.

Suitable for

• Short-distance high-speed network links in data centres
• Connections between switches, routers and optical transceivers
• Patch cabling in server rooms and telecommunications cabinets

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for dust or damage before use. Align the ST connector bayonet fitting with the device port, insert and twist to lock. Use one fiber for each direction to establish full-duplex links. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain a bend radius according to manufacturer recommendations for multimode fiber.

Recommendations

To preserve signal quality, keep connectors capped when not in use, clean end faces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools, and avoid exceeding the recommended bend radius. Use OM4 multimode fiber for applications requiring higher bandwidth over short distances.
