The InLine Scart Adapter features a male SCART (21-pin) connector and provides three RCA jacks plus an S-Video (S-VHS) socket with in/out capability. It enables connection between SCART-equipped devices and equipment that uses composite RCA or S-Video signals, offering a compact and durable solution for transmitting video signals.

Advantages

This Scart M to 3x RCA and S-VHS adapter supports both composite (RCA) and S-Video connections, allowing flexible compatibility with older DVD players, VCRs, set-top boxes and displays. The adapter’s male SCART plug and separate RCA/S-Video connectors simplify cabling without requiring internal modifications, and the black compact housing is designed for convenient placement and reliable long-term use.

Suitable for

• Connecting SCART-equipped video sources to RCA composite inputs
• Connecting SCART devices to displays or capture devices with S-Video
• Integrating older AV equipment (VCR, DVD, game consoles) into modern setups

How to use

Insert the male SCART plug into the SCART socket of the source device. Connect RCA cables from the adapter’s RCA jacks to the composite inputs of the target display or recorder, or use an S-Video cable connected to the S-Video socket for higher-quality luminance/chrominance separation when supported. Ensure both devices are powered off when making connections, then power them on and select the appropriate input on the display or recording device.

Recommendations

Use S-Video where available for improved picture clarity compared with composite RCA. Keep cable runs short and avoid excessive bending to preserve signal quality. Do not force the SCART connector; align pins carefully before insertion.
