Jalustapää Novoflex Ball NQ alumiini 5,08 cm 2"

The Novoflex Ball NQ tripod head is a compact, flat ball-and-socket head made of durable aluminium with a 5.08 cm (2") ball diameter and a maximum load capacity of 7 kg (15.5 lb). Weighing approximately 460 g, it offers precise, stable support for cameras and can be combined with plates from the Novoflex Q system via the fixed Q-Mount. The head features a lubricant-free ball seat and corrosion-resistant materials for reliable outdoor use, and includes an integrated spirit level for accurate alignment.

Advantages

The flat design provides a lower centre of gravity for improved stability while the easy-to-move ball enables smooth 360° rotation. A winged screw allows locking the ball in any desired position, and the lubricant-free ball seat reduces the risk of stickiness. Corrosion-resistant construction increases longevity in outdoor conditions. The fixed Q-Mount ensures compatibility with numerous Novoflex Q plates for fast camera attachment.

Suitable for

• Travel and outdoor photography where lightweight, stable support is needed
• Landscape, architecture, and studio work requiring precise alignment
• Photographers using Novoflex Q system quick-release plates

Tighten the winged screw to secure the chosen position before shooting.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid introducing lubricants to the ball seat and rinse off salt or dirt after use in harsh outdoor environments to preserve the corrosion-resistant surfaces. Ensure the camera and plate are within the 7 kg load limit and check the locking screw before transport.
