Jalustapää Novoflex Magic-Ball harmaa 1/4"

The Novoflex MagicBall Grey 1/4" tripod head is a compact ball head designed for precise positioning and stable support of camera equipment. With a height of 105 mm, a weight of 920 g and a 5 cm base diameter, it offers a balance of portability and stability for various shooting situations. The MagicBall series provides a wide positioning range and is compatible with most tripods.

Advantages

The MagicBall head delivers a 120° positioning range in virtually any plane and features a large, grippy point-and-fix handle for exact placement and quick locking. Two larger models in the series include an integrated friction (tension) control to match adjusting force to camera weight, while high-quality materials and precision construction minimize vibration transfer. A knurled wheel ensures safe and straightforward camera mounting.

Suitable for

• Travel and landscape photography when a compact, lightweight head is required
• Studio and on-location shoots needing precise multi-axis positioning
• Photographers using mirrorless or DSLR cameras with accessories within the head's load capacity

Key specifications

• Height: 105 mm
• Weight: 920 g
• Base diameter: 50 mm
• Maximum positioning range: 120° in virtually any plane
• Mounting thread: 1/4"
• Friction/tension control (variable) on larger models in the series

How to use

Mount the MagicBall on a compatible tripod using the 1/4" thread and attach the camera to the knurled mounting wheel. Use the large point-and-fix handle to move the ball head into the desired position; a single twist of the handle locks the head securely. If using a model equipped with friction control, adjust the tension to match the camera and accessory weight for smoother movements and finer control.

Recommendations

For stable results, check that the tripod and head are rated for the combined weight of camera and accessories. Use the friction control (if present) to prevent sudden movements when handling heavier setups, and tighten the handle fully before long exposures or when using telephoto lenses.
