Jatkojohto Brennenstuhl 9162100210 10 m 1 AC-pistorasia ulkokäyttöön musta oranssi

Outdoor extension cable with a 10 m PUR-sheathed cable and one AC outlet, designed for outdoor and construction-site use. The cable jacket is made of polyurethane (BREMAXX-PUR) that provides resistance to abrasion, rolling loads, cuts and tears, and remains flexible down to -40 °C. The set includes an extra-robust earthing contact plug and socket with a sealing cap; plug and socket are UV-resistant and feature bend protection and a cable seal. The unit is rated IP44, protecting against solid foreign objects and splash water.

Advantages

The PUR sheath gives high mechanical durability, oil and acid resistance, and increased weather and microbe resistance for long outdoor service life. A robust earthing contact plug and socket with sealing cap help maintain safe connections in wet or dirty environments. The 10 m length provides extended reach suitable for construction sites and permanent outdoor installations, while the compact, lightweight housing facilitates handling and transport.

Suitable for

• Temporary power supply on construction sites in accordance with DGUV 203-006 (formerly BGI 608)
• Permanent outdoor electrical connections for garden and yard equipment
• Outdoor events and maintenance work where splash protection is required

How to use

Connect the earthing contact plug to a compatible grounded socket and route the 10 m cable to the required location. Insert the plug of the appliance into the outdoor outlet and close the sealing cap on the socket when not in use or when exposed to moisture. Avoid sharp bends near the plug and socket; use the built-in bend protection and cable seal to reduce strain. Regularly inspect the cable sheath and connectors for damage before use.

Recommendations

Use the extension cable on grounded supply points only and adhere to site safety regulations such as DGUV 203-006 for construction environments. Do not use the cable if the sheath or connectors are damaged. For continuous outdoor installations, ensure the plug and socket are protected from prolonged direct water exposure and inspect periodically for wear.
